Here is the process to sign up for the app. Please find the solutions to the most common issues listed below.

Log in to the TM app

When the app opens, it will take you to this screen. Select ' Log in’.

Please use the email you provided for registration. Tap ‘ Send me a link’.

You will be prompted to go to your email inbox.

Keep the TM app open in the background as you open your email on your phone. For security reasons, the link expires in 3 minutes.

In your email inbox on your device, find the email from Transcendental Meditation app support@tm.community with the subject line: Let’s get your account activated, <your name>! Tap ‘Activate account’.

If the button does not work, manually copy and paste the link that is below the button into your phone’s browser.

You can then fill out the profile screen, accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and tap Confirm.

I'm not seeing the activation email from Transcendental Meditation app in my inbox

If you are not seeing the email from the Transcendental Meditation app in your inbox, please try the following:

Then try sending the email again by signing in to the app and tapping ‘send me the link’.

Please keep in mind that for security reasons the email activation link will expire:

  • After you have used it once

  • After 3 minutes have passed from the time you entered your email address in the app

  • Every time the ‘send me the link’ button is tapped and a new activation email is sent to you

If you think more than 3 minutes have passed between you submitting your email in the app and when you are ready to tap the link, go back to the app and submit your email address again - the app will send you a fresh link. Every new activation email sent to you will expire all the older activation email links, so please make sure to check the timestamp of the activation email to be certain it is the most recent one sent to you.

If you have tried all of these suggestions and you continue to not find the activation email, please contact us directly at support@tm.community. Please let us know if you have tried all the steps listed here. We are happy to help investigate this issue with you.

When I enter my email to log in to the app I get an error message

If you get an error such as “Sorry, we don’t recognize this email. Please enter the email you gave us when you first registered for the app.” it means that the email address you are using does not match the email address for your account. Please double check the email address you are using for your app login email address. If you are not sure which email address, please search your email for the download instructions sent to you from the TM app team support@tm.community. Please also check for any possible typos or spaces on either side of your email address.

Please note that joining the waiting list does not automatically create your app account. If you have just submitted your details to the waiting list, please ensure you have completed the registration process in full. You will receive an email from us when your account is ready.

If the email you are using to sign in to the app is the same as the email address listed in your download instructions email and you are still getting this error message, then please contact us directly at support@tm.community. It will be very helpful to know the steps you have already taken to solve this issue yourself. We are happy to help investigate this issue with you.

The link from the activation email isn't working

If the button in the email isn’t working correctly, try tapping the link under the button.

If neither the button nor the link is working, then try opening the link manually:

  • Tap the link and hold it down until the menu with possible actions appear

  • Select ‘Copy URL’ and then manually open a web browser on your phone and paste the URL into the browser and launch the link

  • If the same issue occurs, please follow the sign-in process using a different email inbox app and a different web browser app on your phone

If you have tried all the above steps and the activation link remains unresponsive, then please contact us directly at support@tm.community. It will be very helpful to know the steps you have already taken to solve this issue yourself, and we will then be able to help investigate this issue with you.

The link I’ve used from the email is not valid anymore

If you used the link in your email and got redirected back to the app sign up screen, with the error message: ‘That link isn’t valid anymore’ it could mean the following:

  • you have used an expired link from an older activation email

  • the activation link was not tapped within 3 minutes of receiving the email

  • the activation link had already been used

To successfully sign in, please do the following: tap the button ‘Let’s try again’, this will take you back to the last app screen. Next, tap 'send me a link', and this will send a new activation link to your email. Make sure to use the link in this most recently sent email (check the email timestamp). All the older activation links will expire once a new activation link is sent.

If you have tried all the above steps and you continue to get this error screen, then please contact us directly at support@tm.community. It will be very helpful to know the steps you have already taken to solve this issue yourself, and we will then be able to help investigate this issue with you.

I joined the waiting list but I can’t log in

For those who are in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States, you can request access to the app by joining the waiting list. This is a 2 part process, please ensure you have completed it in full. Once you have submitted “join the waiting list”, please check your email to find an email with subject line 'TM app: Begin verification process' to complete your waiting list registration.

Once your details have been verified, we will email you to let you know you can access the app. In most cases, this will happen within 48 hours. We will notify you once your account has been created, and you can log in and start using the app.

For those who are not in the countries mentioned above, we will be working with your TM National Organization to create a system to verify and invite existing meditators to access the app. Your National Organization will contact you when the app is available in your country.
