The TM timer has pre-set durations for the different parts of your meditation practice according to what we recommend. However, you can adjust these durations by going to the Transcend section and then tapping the number of minutes under TM.
You can also adjust this in settings, by tapping the gear icon on the Transcend or Profile screen, then choose Duration and sound under Meditation settings
To adjust the duration, tap on a section and then drag the white circle on the slider left or right. For each part of the meditation, you will find the recommended timing selected as the default setting.
You can add Yoga Asanas and Pranayama to your timer.
You can also add a new customizable segment, which is perfect for including additional time—for example, for your Advanced Techniques.
You can adjust the segment’s name, sounds, and duration as needed. To move the segment, tap 'Edit' in the top right corner, then drag it up or down.
Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, and other new segments are only available once you completed your TM course.
